Reflections Before Rest Pt. 1

Date Written: Thursday, May 8, 2025 | 10:30 PM

What did you make of your day today?
I made my day a masterpiece, full of emotion, passion, and creativity. I helped and served many people, and my presence, my essence, truly mattered.

What new things did you learn?
I learned that no matter how tired I feel, I can always ignite my soul and keep going. The right mindset really makes things happen. I also realized how much power I have to wake up my body. Movement matters. Running brings me back to life. It grounds me, energizes me, and helps me feel truly alive.

What are you looking forward to tomorrow?
I’m looking forward to another day in this world, God willing. I’m excited to help, to serve, and to experience the joy of a new day.

Is there anything you’re thankful and grateful for?
So much. I’m grateful for my family, my work, my colleagues, and all the incredible people I get to interact with every day. I’m thankful for community, friendship, a solid workout, and a good night’s sleep. Oh, and a great cup of coffee and some pan dulce too, lol. There are so many blessings. Life is truly amazing when we slow down and notice how fortunate we are just to be alive.

Is there anything you’d like to tell yourself?
Thank you for showing up, for doing your best, for staying open to the universe and all the experiences and emotions it has to offer. Thank you for loving yourself, for having faith in yourself, for taking care of yourself, and for not giving up.

Any last words before bed?
My intention for sleep is to rest deeply and peacefully. My intention for tomorrow is to be the light, to choose joy, to choose positivity, and to carry that attitude throughout the day.
