What did you learn today?
What did you learn today?
I learned that no matter how tough things feel, the most important thing is to just show up one more day, one step at a time. Take things day by day. Endure, survive, and when you can, thrive. Then do it again tomorrow. Work has been so busy lately that it’s been hard to find time to reflect like this. But after this week, I’ll finally have a bit more space to breathe and regroup.
What are you grateful for today?
I’m grateful that I pushed through and handled what needed to get done. It wasn’t an easy day, emotionally or mentally, but I still showed up. And for that, I’m deeply grateful to myself.
What do you tell yourself during difficult days?
Just show up. That’s it. Don’t worry about the rest, just be there. Everything else can be figured out later.
How can you make tomorrow a little better than today?
I’m going to get after it early. I’ll leave for work way ahead of schedule, be the first one there, and jump right into things. That way, I start my day with intention instead of feeling like the day is dragging me around.
Great! So what time do you need to wake up to make that happen?
Hmm… 4:30 AM sounds right. That gives me time to get ready, head out by 5:30, and be at work by 6 AM, ready to take on the day.
Anything else you want to reflect on or write about?
You’ve got this. Life throws curveballs, but you always get back up. And you’ll keep getting back up, as many times as it takes. One day, when all is said and done, you’ll get to rest peacefully under the most beautiful of nights. But until then, just keep going.
